Senior Operating Partner
Garrett Sato has over 30 years of extensive operating and executive leadership skills and accomplishments in business and philanthropy. His experience extends to providing transformative board services for profit, non-profit, public and privately held companies.
Currently, Mr. Sato servers as an Industry Executive Partner for Inverness Graham Investments, a private equity firm in Wayne, Pennsylvania and as Chairman of the Board for Vista Apex, an Intermed company. From December 2013 to February 2016, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of California-based Danville Materials LLC, a developer and manufacturer of dental materials.
In February 2016, Mr. Sato led the successful sale of Danville Materials LLC to Zest Dental Solutions, Inc. From June 2011 through December 2013, Mr. Sato served as a consultant and board advisor to several businesses, including New Zealand-based Triodent Corporation, where he served as a director; Santa Barbara, CA-based Isolite Corporation; Kyoto, Japan-based Shofu Corporation; Canada-based Clinicians Research Dental Inc.; and Japan-based Mani Corporation.
Mr. Sato also served as a board member for G&H Ortho, an orthodontic company owned by the private equity firm, Riverside Company. From October 2009 to June 2011, Mr. Sato was the Executive Vice President of Culver City, CA-based Discus Dental, a Philips Company. At Discus Dental, Mr. Sato helped plan and executed a successful strategic turnaround that resulted in the sale of Discus to Philips.
From February 1987, Mr. Sato enjoyed a successful career with Sybron Dental Specialties, a Danaher Company, and held various management, executive and President positions throughout his 23-year tenure with Sybron/Danaher. Garrett graduated from California State University Long Beach in 1982 with a B.A. in Marketing. He lives in Newport Beach, California and has two adult children.
