Inverness Graham-backed Corsica Technologies Acquires Symplexity

Third Managed IT Services Acquisition in the Last Twelve Months

Philadelphia, PA, November 25, 2019 – Inverness Graham Investments, a private investment firm targeting innovative tech-enabled manufacturing, service and software companies, announced today that its managed IT services platform, Corsica Technologies, has acquired Symplexity, Inc. Based in Fort Wayne, IN, Symplexity is a full-service, Managed IT Solutions Provider (“MSP”) serving small to medium-sized businesses that also provides Managed Security Services to its customers, offering critical security capabilities to help protect their data. This marks the third acquisition in the last twelve months as part of Inverness’ strategy to build a multi-regional, technology-enabled managed IT solutions platform.

“We are very excited to have completed our transaction with Symplexity,” stated Paul Nolen, Principal at Inverness Graham. “Among other things, Symplexity adds another attractive geographic market and a team with strong capabilities in the areas of cyber security and software development, which the company has leveraged to create proprietary automation, service delivery and reporting tools. These capabilities will benefit the customers of the entire Corsica platform through enhanced service offerings with increased transparency,” Nolen said.

Dale Walls, CEO of Corsica, stated, “Symplexity is an ideal fit with Corsica. From having a similar culture and set of core values to using the same service delivery tools, we are thrilled to partner with the Symplexity team. Corsica is continually focused on upgrading and improving our service offerings for our customers by combining industry-leading solutions that are delivered locally by our customer centric, service-oriented teams. With Symplexity, in addition to gaining a highly talented team that can deliver industry leading managed IT services and cybersecurity services, we are gaining a client reporting portal that we believe to be a high value-add to our existing customers and we look forward to introducing it to them in the near future.”

Inverness continues to seek acquisition and partnering opportunities with established regional MSPs of over $5 million in revenue that serve the small to medium-sized business segment and operate in the highest growth regional markets across the U.S.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
