Inverness Graham Announces New Hire to Oversee Capital Formation and ESG

Wayne, PA, August 15, 2022 – Inverness Graham, a private investment firm that targets innovative tech-enabled manufacturing, service and software companies, is pleased to announce that Wilson Tong has joined the firm as Director of Capital Formation and ESG. Wilson joins from Common Sense Growth, a mission driven venture incubator and investor, where he led the day-to-day operations of the platform. Wilson brings over 13 years of experience in alternative investments, including investor relations roles at KKR and Hutchin Hill Capital and private capital advisory at Lazard.

In this role, Wilson will oversee the firm’s capital raising and investor relations activities, and given his diverse experiences including mission-driven work, will lead Inverness Graham’s efforts in ESG across the firm and the portfolio.

“We are delighted that Wilson has joined Inverness Graham to help us to continue to provide the transparency and responsiveness to our Limited Partners and stakeholders for which we are known,” said Ken Graham, Founder and Chairman at Inverness Graham. “Strong relationships with our investors have been instrumental to the success of Inverness Graham, and we are constantly pushing to innovate in all that we do, including capital formation and ESG. It is great to have someone of Wilson’s caliber to lead our efforts in these areas.”

“Over the last two decades, Ken and the team at Inverness Graham have built a leading investment firm focused on partnering with owner-operators and entrepreneurs, as well as thoughtfully stewarding capital from a sophisticated, global group of institutional investors. I am thrilled to join at this exciting juncture in the firm’s trajectory as it prepares to launch its next funds,” said Wilson Tong, Director of Capital Formation and ESG at Inverness Graham.

Prior to Inverness Graham, Wilson was the operating partner at Common Sense Growth, the for-profit incubation and investment subsidiary of non-profit Common Sense Media, where he managed investor relations, corporate governance, business formation, and early-stage due diligence and investment efforts of the mission-driven venture portfolio. Prior to that, Wilson worked at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) and Hutchin Hill Capital, focused on capital raising and investor relations for private equity and hedge funds. He began his career at Lazard in private capital advisory in New York City and holds degrees from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University.
